    • The queen was visiting Newcastle on the Britannia. Agnes had not been well and decided not to go and see the queen. The next morning Mrs Presca phoned Selina Marlan asking where Agnes was. Selina asked Mrs Presca to break in and Agnes was peace full in bed. She had a copy of the book "The Carnical is Over" with her glasses on it.

  • Notes
    • Parents (grandparents?) came out on the "Cornwell" from England.
Agnes was the post mistress and owned the general store in Charlestown.
John and Joyce used to deliver the paper by horse.
Agnes had the first car in Charlestown and as such had to teach herself to drive as no-one else knew how to drive.
She then bought the Post Office in Cooks Hill.
